Tomorrow, Friday, March 26th, the voting will begin for the final Folk Song of Year. Madison Violet has already won the Grand Prize in the Session 2 Folk category for our song 'The Ransom'. Now, we are up against 1 other folk song for Session 1 and 2 combined. When this ends, there will be a vote for the final prize of the best song of all 12 categories combined.
The prize is $20,000 and we can change our names to 'Queens of the World'!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Let's all set an alarm so that we remember to vote each morning with our coffee or tea! Please feel free to forward or post this blog all over the web, so that we can get lots of voters each day!

JUNO NOMINATION
We've been nominated for our very first Juno Award! Woo hoo. Yes, you heard right. We've been nominated in the Roots / Traditional Recording of the Year (Group). They take place in April in NFLD, so we'll be there with bells and tassels, sippin' on Screech.
JOHN LENNON SONGWRITING CONTEST WINNER
Madison Violet just won the Grand Prize in the folk category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest! There will be a vote soon on the top 12 songs in all the categories combined, on the song of the year. When we have more info on how you can vote, we'll post it. The prize for top song in all the categories combined is $20,000. And mama needs a brand new bag!
